Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Information on this website is general
The content on this website, including guidance about Canterbury-Bankstown Council's tree controls, exemptions, thresholds and Development Application requirements, is general information only. It is not arboricultural, legal or planning advice for your property. Council requirements can change and can apply differently depending on the tree, the property and the proposed works. Always confirm the current position with Canterbury-Bankstown Council, or arrange a site assessment, before relying on anything published here.
Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a contract between us. Any quote we provide is based on the information supplied at the time, is valid for the period stated in the quote, and may be revised if the scope changes, if additional trees are involved, or if site conditions differ from what was described. Work commences only once a quote has been accepted.
Reports and deliverables
Arboricultural reports we prepare are based on the conditions observed at the time of inspection and on the information available to us. Reports are prepared for the client and the purpose identified in them, and should not be relied on by other parties or for other purposes without our written agreement. We cannot guarantee any particular outcome from Council, which assesses applications on its own criteria.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, layout, graphics and reports we prepare, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own use, but you may not reproduce, republish or distribute content from this site commercially without our written permission.
Third-party links
This website links to third-party websites, including Canterbury-Bankstown Council pages, for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. A link does not imply endorsement.
Availability
We aim to keep this website available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free or current at all times. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from reliance on the general information published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
